Brian Calhoun is one of just 10 individuals nationwide who has been selected to join the 2017 class of the National Career Development Association’s Leadership Academy.  The selection process is a competitive one, and involves a lengthy application highlighting the applicant’s commitment to the field of career development, as well as his or her potential as a future leader within the NCDA on both the local and state levels.  The ultimate goal of the Academy is to identify and nurture future generations of NCDA leaders.

Mr. Calhoun will attend a series of leadership workshops and training sessions during next year’s NCDA conference in Chicago. Those sessions will focus on NCDA’s history, governance processes, and strategic initiatives.  He will then participate in a year-long research project in the field of career development, and will present his findings at the 2017 NCDA conference in Orlando.  He will also receive a travel stipend and a registration fee waiver, which will help to fund his attendance at NCDA conferences.

Congratulations to Brian!
